About Me Describe Yourself: So hard to do. . . Um, I'm outspoken, sometimes too boystrous I've been told; only when necessary though. I'm passionate about life, always seeking out new adventures. I'm incredibly creative and diverse. I love family and friends - continuously conjuring parties to bring people together. My ultimate drive for life, is my husband. I adore him more than anything imaginable. He makes me a good person. On Gather, I'm Looking For ...: Something new. I've never been a part of a blog site, so I hope to meet new people, and find great opportunities to develope. Interests Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: I love pretty much everything. Some of my most listened to artists however, are Evanescence, Sarah McLaughlin, U2, Bon Jovi, Enya, Led Zepplin, 80's hair bands, and all classical. I guess it depends on my mood. I love to listen to classic rock at work too; it's instrumental in keeping me awake, not to mention great music! Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: Like music, my taste in books is vastly eclectic. I enjoy both fiction and non. The genres that I tend to lean toward are fantasy, horror, thrillers and New Age. I do enjoy Oprah's Book Club novels, and reads that relate to philosophy and the environment. Silent Spring and books on or written by Jane Goodall I'm largely into. My all time favorite novels are the classics like The Catcher in the Rye; To Kill a Moching Bird; The Great Gatspy; Lord of the Flies; Pride and Predjiduce, Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit., I don't really have a favorite, but if I had to throw off a few that I enjoy they'd be Stephen King, John Saul, Patricia Cornwell, Barry Lopez, Yann Martel, and Chris Van Alsburg. I could go on forever! Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: I am such a product of my environment when it comes to pop culture movies; I love action films and movies with great special effects. I do especially enjoy indie-films also, and documentaries. Michael Moore films are favorites, I tend to flock to see movies with great actors such as Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jody Foster, and movies directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Martin Scorsese, and Quntin Tarentino. But then, I admire a lot of British films like Quills and Notes on a Scandal, and British actors such as Kate Winslet and, Geofrey Rush, so the spectrum isn't easy for me to confine to a group of favorites. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I'm not a reality show buff, never have been until recently; I'm hooked on Gordon Ramsay! I love Ramsay's Nightmare Kitchens. I'm also a lover of educational specials and documentaries on The Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Food Network, and BBC America. I religiously watch Supernatural; there's something about Sam and Dean Winchester that I can't get enough of! Interests and Activities: I'm a huge environmentalist who's very passionate about nature and conservation. Global Warming issues aren't far from my thoughts; I do whatever I can to contribute in helping to keep the planet green., Reading is an all time favorite pastime; as well as painting murals, and wild animal portaits in pastels. I truley enjoy writing; I write everything from young adult fantasty to, literary fiction. I hope to some day be published. I live in New England, so another pastime of mine and my husband's, is to explore New England. We can't get enough of it!
